質問なんですが、MS−DOS上でFREEBSD(98)のインストールフロッピーを作るときに、RAWRITE.EXEをつかったのですが、unsupported media type と表示されてしまいます。PC−98用MS-DOSでフォーマットした1.44MB,2HDのフロッピーなんですけども...何が原因でしょうか？ ちなみにRAWRITEはバージョン1.2です。

コンソールで日本語のはいったファイルを表示しようとするとき cat だとちゃんと表示されるんですが more や less だと化けてしまいます。qkc,nkfでいろいろ変換して ためしたのですがどうしてもうまくいきません。 どなたか解決法をご存知でしたらお教えください。 PC9821V13とFreeBSD4.6.2です。

kern.flpとmfsrootで起動させFreeBSD(98)のインストールを試みたのですが Probing devices, please wait(this can take a while)... ここで止まってしまいます。（30分何も変化がない） PC-9821 V200でPCIスロットに3comのNICを2枚挿し、CバスにはサウンドカードにSCSIカードの機能のくっついたカードが1枚挿さっています。 考えられる原因はどんなものがあるでしょうか？
WAVESMITとPCIに接続しているNICを2枚とも外したのですが、状況はかわりませんでした。 Kernel Configuration Menuが表示されずに、Probing devices, please wait ( this can take a while)...になるのは順番がおかしいですよね。 HELP ME!

/usr/src/sys/modules/syscons/dragon/dragon_saver.c:546: redefinition of `__set_s ysinit_set_sym_dragon_savermodule_sys_init' /usr/src/sys/modules/syscons/dragon/dragon_saver.c:273: `__set_sysinit_set_sym_d ragon_savermodule_sys_init' previously defined here {standard input}: Assembler messages: {standard input}:556: Error: symbol `gdraw' is already defined というようなエラーがでました。 /usr/src/sys/modules/syscons/dragon/をみてみると、 さきほどと同じようにdragon_saver.cとdragon_saver.c.origというものがあり、 dragon_saver.cの方は同じ文章が2回かかれていたので、dragon_saver.c.origをdragon_saver.cにリネームしmakeしなおしたら、何もエラーがでずに終わりました。 これで、問題ないのでしょうか？
FreeBSD(98)4.4でipfでフィルタリングしようとしているのですがPCMCIAのLANカード(ed13)がうまくフィルタリング出来ません カーネルをコンパイルする方法とモジュールをロードする方法を試してみたのですが /etc/ipf.rluesの設定で pass out log all pass in log all block out proto tcp from any to any port = 23 ではed13をブロックできるのですが pass out log on ed13 all head 400 pass in log on ed13 all head 500 では他のPCにtelnetでログインしようとしてもログに記録されません pass out log on lo0 all head 200 block out log proto tcp from any to any port = 23 group 200 では自分に対してtelnetでログインしようとするとブロックされます pass out log all pass out log on ed13 all head 400 でping等を行うとログに ed13 @0 192....と表示されグループの設定が有効になっていないようです (@0の部分がグループの番号らしい？)
モジュールをロードする場合で/etc/ipf.rulesの設定が以下の場合 pass in log on ed13 all head 200 pass out log on ed13 all head 300 立ち上がった後にログインして他のPCに対してpingしても記録されず その後ipf -Fa -Z -f /etc/ipf.rulesとルールを再設定すと他のPCにpingすると記録される
FreeBSD(98)-4.8R＋XFree86-3.3.6の環境にKDE3をインストールしました。 kdebaseをバージョンアップしているのですが、 /usr/include/sys/cdefs.h:273: warning: '_POSIX_C_SOURECE' is not defined /usr/include/sys/cdefs.h:279: warning: '_POSIX_C_SOURECE' is not defined 上記の表示を良く見かけ、この表示の後がしばらく時間がかかっています。 現状のままでもバージョンアップは出来る？（結構不安）と思いますが、何処かの変数の指定がいるのでしょうか？
