GNU Emacs 19.34.1な環境で動かすことできますか?
当該鯖は、ありがたく使わせていただいている鯖なので、
emacsのバージョンを上げろなんて言えないんです。

configure すると、こんな感じで止まっちゃいます。

checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.6

checking detecting your emacs type... UNKNOWN
configure: error: this package does not work on your emacs
