盛り上がっている(多分)ところ、お邪魔してすみません。
　厨な質問で申し訳ないです。Carbon版emacsというのを使ってみたいのですが、

IMPORTANT: if you un-tar this file using StuffIt Expander, you must set
the radio button in the ``Preferences->Cross Platform->Convert text
files to Macintosh format'' to ``Never''.
　…という部分は、StuffitExpanderの「環境設定」→「解凍」にある「テキス
ト変換 : テキストファイルをMacintosh形式に変換する」のチェックボックスを
オフにする、という解釈でよろしいでしょうか？

　あと、日本語の入力・表示にleimというのが必要っぽく、上記サイトの
International users who wish to use LEIM should also download the
precompiled leim directory. Double-click on the self-mounting image to
mount it and drag the resulting volume into the emacs-21.1 folder,
replacing the leim folder there.
　…という文章、ダウンロードしたleimを解凍し、同じく解凍したemacs-21.1
フォルダの中の「leim」フォルダと入れ替える、という解釈で合ってます？

　emacs-21.1フォルダの中に「INSTALL」というテキストが用意されていた
ので、それを読んで行程を進めていってるつもりなのだけど、「Terminalで
emacs-21.1フォルダに移動して、./configureとタイプする」という段階で下記
のエラーが発生します。

　このエラーはどういった事を告げているのでしょうか？　実際に使ってらっしゃる
方がおられましたら、できれば田中真紀子のモノマネ風以外の口調で教えていただけると
大変ありがたいのですが。よろしくお願いします。と、こんな風にわたくし考えておる
わけであります(鈴木宗男風)。いや、ホントによろしくお願いします。
