In the end (a few hundred years from now), I think only scripts that are
most simple and efficient to use on computers will survive and that
means among other things

a) small alphabet (for ease of keyboard entry)
b) left-to-right (compatibility with the major modern scripts)
c) no ligatures (somewhat easier to edit and enter)

漢字もつぶしたいらしい。

ただ、これはあくまでも端末エミュレータとその周辺だけ話で、他では
アラビア語もヘブライ語もかまわないという意味だけどね。某しお兄
ちゃんの気持ちがだんだん分かってきた(苦笑)
