/home/hogeでapache_1.3.22.tar.gzを解凍 ↓ /home/hoge/apache_1.3.22 に移動、そこで ./configure(オプションは無し)を実行 ↓ make,make install を実行、/usr/local/apacheが作成 ↓ /usr/local/apache/confに移動、httpd.confファイル中で ServerNameをコメントアウト、http://127.0.0.1/に変更、保存 ↓ /usr/local/apache/bin に移動、./apachectl start を実行 ↓ /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: not found ./apachectl start: httpd could not be started と怒られる ↓ httpdを検索してみると /home/hoge/apache_1.3.22/src 内に httpd.exe をﾊｹｰﾝ、/usr/local/apache/bin に httpd.exe をコピー、 再度 /usr/local/apache/bin から ./apachectl startを実行 ↓ httpd: bad user name nobody ./apachectl start: httpd could not be started ↓ (ﾟдﾟ)bad user??

えーと。ActivePerlにDBD::PgがないからCygwin版のPerlつかってます。 で、DBD::Pgを使ったCGIをつくろうと思ってIIS5で.cgiに「C:\cygwin\bin\perl.exe %s %s」ってマッピングしたんだけど。 単純なHTML出力のテストCGIすら「"hogehoge\hoge.cgi" no such file or directory」が返ってきて先に進めません。 Apacheだとうまくいくんですが･･･目的が「DBD::PgをつかったCGIをIISで動かす」なんで今回はWebサーバ替えろってのはなしで。 うーん・・・同じ現象おこってる人いない？

FreeBSDマシンは機器の問題でシリアルが使えないから cygwinでpilot-linkを使ってみたいのだけど cygwin + pilot-link で google しても見つからないYo! みんなスンナリ逝ってるのでしょうか・・・

いくつかのコマンドはうまく逝ってるＹＯ。
ただし、ポート指定はCOM1とかだから気をつけるべし。 ネット辛苦も出来た。

Windows98上でcygwinについてきたtelnetd動かしてるんだけど、ログインすると
I have no name!@host名 currentpath $
とか出る。 "I have no name!"がウザいんですがここにほかの文字列を表示するには どうすりゃいいのでしょう？

Cygwin いれて Cygwin/XFree86 いれて XDMCP で隣の Linux マシンにつなげて幸せ。
それはいいとして、Astec X みたいに「個別ウィンドウモード」みたいなのはないかなぁ？ Linux マシンのほうでうごかしてる gnuplot とか tgif とかのウィンドウを 普通の Windows アプリのウィンドウと同じように表示させたいんだけど。 別にルートウィンドウに何か表示させたいわけじゃないので。

XWin --help で探してみたけど、そういうオプションは無いみたい。 Cygwin/XFree86 は使ってみた感じ遅いので、 常用の X Server は AstecX 評価版にします。

ちなみに、X on Windows の環境で /usr/bin と /bin を 同一視せずに(つまり、mount -b -s c:\\cygwin\\bin /usr/bin をせずに)インストールしていくと、rpm のパッケージングで 「mkdir がないよ」って言われるので注意。 そもそも X on Windows 自体がそのような利用法を想定してない からだと思うんだけどね。

Should be called reliancing upon others, don't reserch, nor give any challenges, all you have to do is to exploit the fruits of others' effort. That's how "teach-begging guy" ought to be. And, to sulk saying "I don't understand what is written about at all" would be also very effective. The phrase "at all" expresses your shiftless attitude tellingly. Question like "What would be need to do to define the object?" emerges your positivety and disqualify you from "teach begging guy."
2. Never disclose the information. Never let them know the name of; your dictionary, the secondhand bookstore and the library you often go, applicable branches, and such indispensable informations. And also you better not to refer the concrete name of book and URL either. You should just mention them ambigous way, like "sort of analytical phylosophy" On the contrary, don't hesitate to tell them useless infomastions such as "the thing that you have been wanting to know" or "the thing that has been talked about". On the table of discussion, you should never present situations clearly. The point is that you shoudn't refer to any of specific things, but mention to meanless coments like "Somehow it doesn't make sence." or "It's so disgusting." And never give them your own hypothesis into concrete language. You must not make a matrix of theories that you imagine to put them in order the situation. In case of the worse, just by doing it the problems might be soluted. Just saying, "I've tried in many ways but I don't understand nor get any solutions" is ideal manner.
